While wandering around the markets of Yucatán, you'll soon encounter some strange-looking fruits and vegetables.
How would you say the following fruits and veggetables in English: pitahaya, nance, saramuyo, mamey, cebollina, camote, chile max, elote pibil, chaya. chayote, guanábana, tuna?
I'm not sure but I think so:

Other fruits and vegetables are not :S
we can see the way how to relate the structure of the fruit and color. but we could also observe as they say in the place of origin.

lol pronounced aas some in my opinion because chile maxis pronounced the same in english and spanish, cebollina-chive or cebollina-scallions

It's very interesting this text I just read because all or almost all of us dont know how to say in English these kind of fruits and is important know theirs names or ways to call.
